The Pokémon company has just announced a key feature of conveniance for the upcoming Nintnedo Online versions of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. Pokémon you catch in these classics can be transfered over to more contemporary titles via Pokémon Home.
This was a big sticking point for Pokémon fans, who were curious as to whether any of the classic Pokémon present in these generation one ports would be accessible across other titles. This feature has been a key interconnecting feature across modern releases in the series. Without it, these re-releases of classic games would be a tad barebones.
While the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen re-release has been known about for a while now, soaring up the Nintendo Switch sales charts, whether or not this would be possible was kept a secret from the game's eShop page.
Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen are out today, available for sale for £16.99 or your regional equivalent.
